Personality/Facts: Keeps to himself, often very grumpy, can come out of his shell a bit after he gets to know someone, has post traumatic stress disorder, has frequent panic attacks, can be a bit egotistical, wise, intelligent, stubborn.

Likes: Going for long walks, being alone, relaxing.

Dislikes: Magic, crowded places, wearing his gas mask (Sometimes his stubbornness gets in the way and he leaves his gas mask off for too long with out capping where his respirator connects to his throat, and goes into a violent asthma attack of sorts).

Bio: Opiate grew up in a normal life with his parents and a sister. Back then he was named Jericho. He grew up working with a school-sweet heart named Scarlet Down, they were "magic researchers", preforming/creating new spells and potions. He eventually proposed to Scarlet and they had their first son together. Everything was happy and perfect. Scarlet was on the verge of fusing two different fire spells together, becoming obsessed with it. One day while finally fusing the two together in the study at home, it backfired. Opiate was in the other room opposite to her as she made the break through, but the explosion completely burned his face and neck, revealing muscle and bones, reaking havoc on his respiratory system. Scarlet dies eventually being partially turned to ash, and their son was never found.

As for Opiate, from the injuries he sustained, a scientist gave to him a special breathing apparatus styled as a gas mask, two filters lie on each side with small motors that allow more intake of air into his lungs. They bypassed his windpipe by adding special tubing from the tip of the mask and into his chest. The pipe is connected directly to his lungs. He is unable to go without the gas mask for long periods of time since he can hardly breath on his own. Because of his distaste for the gas mask, the same scientist has given him an extra piece that does the same thing as the filters on the sides of his gas mask. The piece goes over the exposed hole for the bypass and brings in air for him.







Dream Shade bio: So the Drai, we all know that Dream is one of their leaders, but she looks like a normal pony right? WRONG! Dream is a different type of Longma (ponies that are part Dragon and part Pony). She is only a longma in magic. When Dream was a small filly, she was found to be wandering Equestria after a magical accident killed her parents Day Dream and Dark Shade. A member of the Drai had found her outside of Vanhoover and brought her to be tested by the Tribe Leaders. She showed a strong magic for knowing the future and was brought under the wing of the previous "Dragon" of the Divinatory Drai, Mirror Gaze. Mirror became a motherly figure in Dream's life up until her death when Dream turned 18, passing on the role of "Dragon" to Dream. Dream has become a motherly figure to the foals in her Tribe and is often seen teaching them ways to control and focus their vast magic.

Now the Drai is a race of beings unrestricted by species. They don't have any similar characteristics besides this... All Drai members have exceptionally high levels of magic in their bodies and at their control. Most are found when a young foal releases a great amount of magic. Ponies known as Seekers or sometimes the Dragons themselves track down the foal and snatch them away, bringing them back to the Crystal Mountains to be tested by the Leaders and placed in a Tribe. The only Tribe that doesn't require testing is the Divinitory Tribe, their numbers all consist of beings that have an extreme case of Hetero Chromia. Some being so extreme as being two entirely different colours. This Tribe is lead by Dream and she is known among the Drai as the Mother of the Future. Dream's visions are detailed to a fault and she is often consulted by Celestia and Luna in times of Grave importance.
